The Volcano Cliffs Property Owners Association, Inc. (VCPOA) stands as an icon of community representation and cohesion. Established as a corporation, VCPOA unites landowners through annual dues, fostering a collective voice and shared interests in the stewardship and development of this unique area.
With a rich history spanning decades, VCPOA traces its roots back to the concerted efforts of landowners and predecessors who sought to collaborate with the City of Albuquerque in shaping the destiny of Volcano Cliffs.
Initially, promises of annexation and zoning alignment with the Volcano Cliffs Master Plan were made, yet remained unfulfilled prior to 1980.
Despite the earnest endeavors of VCPOA and its forerunners, the evolving landscape of regulatory requirements imposed by the City has posed challenges, intensifying over time and persisting into the present day.

At its peak, VCPOA hosted a membership of 1200 landowners, with approximately half residing in the greater Albuquerque area. Through the ebbs and flows of time, VCPOA has remained steadfast in its commitment to advocating for the interests of its members and navigating the intricate terrain of development protocols and municipal engagements.
A cornerstone of VCPOA’s organizational calendar is the Annual Meeting, a pivotal event held on the second Saturday of November, where members converge to deliberate, strategize, and chart the course ahead. In the spirit of regular engagement, monthly meetings convene every second Saturday at 9:15 am, providing a platform for discourse and community building at:
